Gracie Huerta has been in the field of public education and prevention education for over 25 years. She brings with her extensive experience in working with the Latino population on a variety of topics, including child abuse prevention, domestic violence prevention, and most recently, fire prevention and disaster preparedness education. Gracie’s unique experiences growing up as a Latina in America and learning to successfully bridge both cultures make her particularly aware of the issues affecting immigrant families as well as the need for preparedness training that specifically caters to the needs of the Latino population.
